Today, my topic is about dreams. Everyone of us have dreams. It might be small or big, cheap or costly, easy to achieve or difficult to touch. But, we have dreams. I am not talking about the dream that comes during the sleep. Definitely not about that, the dream what I mean is the aspirations of our mind.
It all starts at young age, where we see people ask the kids, what would you like to become. From thereon so many instances that occur for the kids where they are forced to answer. Is this right! Even if a kid confidently says, i want to become a collector or doctor, there is a smile in the listener's face and they start judging on if the kid will really achieve. They relate the kids circumstances including their parents, school at which the kid studies, area where the kid resides etc., and conclude whether the kid will really achieve or not. Shouldn't we ashamed of this attitude of some elders shown toward the kids.
Dreaming is good, dreaming helps to visualize the big picture, dreaming pushes ourselves beyond our boundary. So, encourage kids to dream. Teach them to define a goal, and start to dream everyday to achieve the goal. Believe me, the dream will make it happen, you will find ways and means to reach your goal, whatsoever you name it as, dream will be fulfilled if it become a practice.
There is famous saying in sanskrit “Yatho Hasta thatho Drishti, Yatho Drishti thatho Manah Yatho Manah thatho
So, dream everyday, dream good things, dream to help others, dream to become the leader. Tell the kids to dream, inculcate in their mind to dream big and to visualize their dreams. It will come true.
